A Legal Disclaimer

At Nathan Designs UK, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality custom 3D prints and design services. Due to the bespoke nature of our work, we handle refunds and cancellations with fairness while protecting the time and materials involved in fulfilling your order.

Custom Work Is Non-Refundable by Default

All orders placed with Nathan Designs UK are custom-made to order and therefore not eligible for refund once production has begun. This includes:

  • Custom 3D prints (FDM only)

  • Bespoke design work

  • File repairs or modifications

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before print production begins. If your order has not yet entered the print queue or required material preparation, we will refund you in full. Once printing has started, cancellation is no longer possible.

To request a cancellation, email info@nathandesigns.co.uk with your order reference as soon as possible.

Refunds Due to Production Issues

You are entitled to a reprint or refund in the following cases:

  • We are unable to fulfil the job as described or agreed

  • A fault occurs during printing that makes the part unusable and is due to our machine or operator error

  • The wrong item is shipped

We may ask for clear photos of the issue or request the item be returned before issuing a refund.

What is Not Covered

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Minor surface imperfections typical of FDM printing (e.g. visible layers, small stringing, or micro blobs)

  • Colour variation or aesthetic expectation mismatches

  • Errors due to incorrect or poor-quality files supplied by the customer

  • Changes requested after print production begins

  • Models used outside of their intended purpose or under excessive stress

Partial Refunds & Credit Notes

In some cases, we may offer a partial refund or a store credit where:

  • A job is mostly correct but has a minor defect that doesn’t affect function

  • You received a product late due to a courier delay, and you selected a premium shipping method

We handle these on a case-by-case basis and aim to be fair.

How to Request a Refund

Email us at info@nathandesigns.co.uk within 7 days of receiving your item. Please include:

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Supporting photos if applicable

Refunds, if approved, will be issued via your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error. If a return is required, the customer is responsible for return postage unless otherwise agreed.

Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
